The trip to Tver.
Our free Sunday we decided to spent together with the parents in old russian city-Tver. We went there by cars, looking through some local sights about the road. We had great excursion programm and we hoped to accomplish it completly. At first we visited "Arbat-street" in Tver, buying different souvenirs. Then we went to the museum of Tver mode. It was very interesting there for everybody: as for American students and as for Russian because every of us could discover something. For example, I liked tver merchant stuff for women of Peter the Great' time, embroided by jewelers. Then we were"invited to the tver merchant like guests". There we were equainted with the custom of tea-drinking. It was very interesting to know that the hostess couldn't just to treat the guest by tea but the guest had to give his empty cup sending it around the guests. After pouring the tea the hostess sent the cup ful of tea around to the other side. There are a lot of kinds of different unusual samovars in this museum: beginning from the samovar for one person and finishing the biggest one in Russia. Then it was planned to visit circus. Moscow circus on the ice arrived there. The show was fantastic! After that we made up our minds to have dinner and to return home. Though we were very tired for all day everybody was happy!
