Dialoge School
This summer Dialoge School was on... an island. Dialoge people, who are difficult to imagine without a guitar, made up song named "Island of LipLuck". To reach the main land from the island of Lipnya is possible only by ship and it follows its timetable. That is why the director of Dialoge Yuri Kurlapov has to go on his director's affairs on a boat with lads, and it's necessary to have returned for sermon by morning. This is how his morning talks on the grass with young Dialoge people are called. "Yuri Petrovich talks about peace, good and bad things, about being happy with life and smile. I can't imagine Dialoge without him. He is our idol, he is the best", - said Nastya, an eleven-grade student from school "Rodnik". She is the oldest member and is sad not to be in Dialoge again next years. She will finish school. But she could be invited to Dialoge in a new role of assistant. And then, maybe, she can be a teacher. It is a Dialoge's career.
And the world turned over.
What is there so attractive in this unusual school? Children say, that it changes your whole life.
Nastya doesn't hide that in the eight class she had problems. Parents were at loss, but she found herself in Dialoge and the world turned over. Before meeting her new friends she hadn't suspected that communicating could give so much happiness, that learning new using your own brains, everything could be so natural, as it done in Dialoge. "And new friends! They are so intellectual and clever, it's so interesting and merry to speak with them! - said Nastya with unhidden admiration. It's of course, mostly summer sessions that join Dialoge people together. This session on the island of Lipnya will be unforgettable forever too. And not to forget even the smallest things a videocentre is working at school. Yulia, a first-year student of a veterinary academy named after Scryabin, working in Dialoge, says: "We are working people. We walk take pictures and making films. We do news reports, make cutting of video materials. At the end of the session each student will get a CD.
Strawberries and a notebook.
There is no doubt that there will be maintenance of projects and relaxation in CD. However there cant be any contradiction. One of the assistant said, that science is a project work aimed to opening a childs talents and soul. Everyone chooses himself the most interesting subject to use their own brains. People, who loved physics, took part in a project named Kite. The whole camp was caught be the flight of the fantastic kites. The children learned how the kites were flying, knew about the construction of wings and many other useful things. On a CD there will be movies about chemists getting paint from strawberries, bilberries and dandelions. All the children from a chemistry project managed to know everything about getting different colors from natural products, since strawberries grew on the island under their feet. Children were interest not only in exact science. A lot of them liked psychology especially its practical part. For example, how to understand your partner by his gestures. Computers were not forgotten either. What a Dialoge can there be without computers! Some computers allowed learning new graphic arts.
According to the Equator rules.
Can you imagine, how pleasant it will be watch in winter a movie about a football match between the members of the international computing school, the guests of the Dialoge and the hosts. Or for example, Tasha Smith and Zack Kirsher will show their friends The Equator Day. How all the teachers were given bath according to all the strict rules of Equator: to catch, to carry and throw into the green waters of the Moscow Sea. The Dialoge people say that, of first, the mosquitoes, which were so resistant to the smoke and poison, and the living conditions, shocked the six students from La Crosse. All had their meals together at a long wooden table. The choice was among sausage and frankfurter. All the rest was given by a person on-duty. All who were on-duty had to get up at 6 oclock a.m. All the rest got up at 8 oclock. At 10 a.m. they had breakfast. After the sermon was project work. In the evening there was a common camp affair. Not a single minute for being idle!
New people.
The correspondent didnt meet anyone who was bored. Everybody was doing something. Everyone began talking readily, told about themselves, how great it is to meet friends, who know many interesting things, like you value in life the same things, and like learning hard. However, Dialoge members singing songs not less. They change songs in their own Dialoge way and sing them near the fire. I love Dialoge School for the guitar, songs, contacts with different people, - said an eleven-grade student Vita. And Olga, who was in Dialoge for the first time, doesnt hide her delight about everything she heard and saw and confesses that she wouldnt ever leave Dialoge. The old members of this interesting flying school understand her.
